During the long days and sleepless nights of medical school and law school, the paths of Matt and Nicole crossed. In the midst of the Covid pandemic, zoom classes and clinicals, through careful planning and fate (sponsored by hinge), Matt and Nicole’s love story unfolded. As the pandemic was starting to lift, their first date was out on the town in Hoboken. As they laughed and shared a delicious brunch meal they both felt an inexplicable sense of belonging and friendship. Despite just meeting, it was as if they had known each other for a lifetime. As Matt got promoted to Captain in the Air Force, graduated medical school, and started his next chapter of residency in Emergency Medicine at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH, Nicole continued her legal studies at Rutgers law school. And so began the adventure of their long distance relationship, yet their love and bond only grew stronger. To propose to Nicole, they went back to where it all began. With the background of NYC, Matt proposed to Nicole on the water in Hoboken and asked Nicole to be his forever. They celebrated with their friends and family, and Nicole cried continuously for 3 days straight. Matt and Nicole have been together for 5 years and counting. Their love story began during the midst of the Covid, medical school, law school, and continued while they lived 600 miles apart for 3 years. Their story is filled with romance, laughter and adventure. And better yet, this is just the beginning chapters of their adventure in life together.
