OUR LOVE STORY started on that fateful evening. Rei was out for dinner on a planned night out with the boys, when, unexpectedly, one of his friends brought a girl to join them. That girl was Shena. Though a little awkward, that was when Rei and Shena first met. FAST FORWARD to a year or so, Rei and Shena met each other again by chance outside a Japanese restaurant. Then a few months later, they ran into each other again at an Indonesian night market. This made Rei think, maybe these were not a mere coincidence, and that perhaps, God was bringing them together. Since then, Rei and Shena started chatting regularly on Whatsapp. ONE DAY, Rei finally asked Shena out for dinner. The intimacy of sharing a warm meal together over a flowing conversation surely set the mood for what was to come next. While walking Shena home after the dinner that night, Rei gathered his courage to ask Shena how she felt about him. Surprisingly, Shena replied by asking him whether he would like to continue dating. And from there, this exciting chapter of their lives began!

It was such a rare occasion that both Rei and Shena had a day off at the same time. To make the most of that precious day, they had planned the perfect day out – starting with a photo session at scenic Lavender Bay, a visit to the Secret Garden and Luna Park, then watching the sunset at Diamond Bay. Without Shena’s knowledge, Rei had made plans to make the day even more memorable for them. When they reached Diamond Bay, Rei dropped on one knee and took out a mysterious black box from his pocket. As he opened the box to reveal a dazzling diamond ring, Rei asked Shena to spend the rest of her life with him. And Shena said yes!
