We’re getting married!

We met at North Scott Jr. High School in Eldridge, IA. First, he moved to Muscatine mid 8th grade year. Then, he came back to Eldridge mid Freshmen year. In early August of Summer night 2015, I was going through something personal and I came across Trent walking down these two way stairs. Nonetheless, we lived at the same apartment complex. We started talking on Facebook & Snapchat so much. Long days and nights just interested in one another. Every night before we got done hanging out, he would say “Te Amo!" On September 22nd, 2015 we decided to make us official. Everything else and moving forward is history! 🥂

On this Day, I turned 20 years old. We planned to go to Denver, Colorado. This was our second time visiting and we went to the mountains in Evergreen, Colorado. Our roommate (Andrew), my sister (Shekira) were with us as we decided to climb mountains. All of us chilled there for some time. Andrew thought Trent & I should take pictures with a beautiful scenery like what we seen. So we did. After, we finished them up because I saw someone climbing their way towards us. All of a sudden, he pulls me to the side then said "You already know what's about to happen." My heart was racing. He dropped on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" Of course, I said YES!!!
