Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wear your "Best and Brightest." AKA Fun, Colorful, Patterned cocktail attire. We may be a fall wedding, but leave the jewel tones at home! Or just wear something that you love that makes you feel confident.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony so everyone can be seated before we begin. There will be prelude music beginning at 12:00.

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

We’re having open seating for the ceremony. Pick a seat, not a side — you’re here for both grooms!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Not at the ceremony. Please put 'em away so our lovely photography team can do their job! But at the reception and cocktail hour there will be QR codes at each table so that you can upload all of the memories you make to a digital wedding album for us!

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both will take place at the Graham Mill so guests won’t need to travel between events.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be indoors. After the ceremony we will relocate to the greenhouse out back for cocktail hour while our wedding team flips the indoor space for the party.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a mimosa bar and plenty of beer and wine! Sunday Funday!

What are we serving and will there be options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

We chose to work with the Smokehouse at Steve's for the reception because BBQ lunches are our roots, they are fabulous to work with and also, we love supporting local business -- check them out they are just next door! Our mains will be chopped pork BBQ & sliced Brisket. If you do not partake in the hooved beasts or beasts at all we will have options to select "chicken" or "vegan" and BBQ chicken or a vegan main will be provided.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are traveling we recommend the hotels listed on our Travel page. Room blocks in Durham and Mebane will be available.

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Absolutely — bring your best moves. 2000s girly pop & queer icons dance party!

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The party will wrap up around 6:30 PM. To be continued in Durham at the Velvet Hippo for those who can join us!
