Flight

Detroit International Airport

Most of our out of town guests who are outside of driving distance will fly in and out of the Detroit Metro Airport, which is located 25 minutes outside of Detroit in Romulus, Michigan. DTW is served by every major airline, every major car rental company, as well as uber, lyft, taxis, and higher-end ground transportation services, such as metro car. The airport is located 35 minutes from Ann Arbor, where we live, and 35 minutes from Ferndale, where our post-elopement party is being held. Unfortunately, public transit to and from the airport is limited. If you are staying near the venue, rental car and taxi are your primary options. (The bus will take a long time and there are transfers, but it does exist) If you are staying in Ann Arbor, there is a shuttle service, the Michigan Flyer, at a more reasonable cost.

Train

For guests staying near the venue, rental car or taxi/car service are the only options to and from the airport, but if you are staying in Ann Arbor, the Michigan Flyer, a luxury coach with free wifi, will drop you off right downtown for $12 one way or $22 round trip.
