Question

OMG what should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you like. It's Arizona. It's November. It could be shorts weather, it might be 30 degrees. For those that want to coordinate, we are using fall as our color scheme. Pioneer Village is an outdoor venue. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors and in the evening. It can get chilly especially if there is a breeze so we recommend you bring a jacket or dress in layers.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

The event will go on! If we're blessed with some liquid sunshine on our wedding day we will move the ceremony under the pavilion. Again, this is open-air so bring layers. November rain can get chilly.

Question

What's the venue like?

Answer

Pioneer Living History Museum is a venue just north of Phoenix off of I-17. The entire event will be outdoors under the beautiful Arizona sky. By 4pm we will likely be entirely in the shade as the sun will be setting over the mountains. Dinner and dance will be held in an open-air pavilion. There's also about 1/2 acre of green grassy area that will be setup with some games like cornhole and Jenga. There is also a large gravel area with a fire pit that we fully intend on using.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes and no. We will have a professional photographer during the ceremony and will share all of the photos soon after. We kindly ask that phones be pocketed and silenced during the ceremony and once it's complete, feel free to take as many photos you like.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony starts promptly at 4pm. We recommend you show up no earlier than 3:15pm or later than 3:45pm. There will be signs directing you from the parking lot to the location of the ceremony. We are all one big family so there's no assigned sides. We will provide directions as we get closer to the date.

Question

Is there parking included?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a very large gravel lot with plenty of free parking.

Question

Will food and drink be provided?

Answer

Yes! After the ceremony, we will be providing dinner and dancing until 10pm. We will provide soda, water, and a few common alcoholic drinks and spirits. Please list any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
