Our close friends were on a casual date and met each other out with a group of friends, a no pressure zone. Shellie was her friend's lone wing-woman amidst an extensive crew of wing-men for Alex's friend. Little did Alex and Shellie know, that the stars lined up for them instead. Alex arrived appropriately late to find the only open chair next to Shellie. After an hour of talking her ear off, the band started playing. Alex asked her three times, "Hey! Come dance with me" before she finally said "Ok Ok Ok." A fun handful of songs, a well timed dip, and Alex was granted permission to call her. A few casual dates, a salsa class followed by a late night practice session in the park, and a beach trip later, it was meant to be!
