Things To Do

As this is a destination wedding for most of our guests, we want to make sure you get to take in all of Charleston while you are here, and even make it a mini-vacation if you can! Below are a few of our favorite tourist attractions located downtown!
Rainbow Row

Rainbow Row

83 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Walking down to The Battery, which is a beautiful and historic land mark, located in the heart of the city! We recommend walking, biking, or even taking a pedicab down there to look at the ancient yet preserved architecture, and capture amazing photos, to make this trip one to remember! The Battery is filled with land marks, old cannons, and lovely views of the harbor, as well as Fort Sumter! Walking through the streets South of Broad, also hold many beautiful homes, with detailed landscaping, and hidden alleys that are perfect for self-guided walking tours

The Gin Joint

The Gin Joint

182 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Amazing hand crafted cocktails! Fresh garnishes and beautiful presentations! Menu doesn’t look appetizing for your palette? Just tell the mixologist a few adjectives that sound delicious, and they’ll create something fabulous to keep you satisfied! They have light apps, but we mainly just go here for the refreshing drinks!

167 Raw

167 Raw

193 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401

A favorite local lunch stop of ours is 167 Raw, a Charleston staple! Owned by Nantucket locals, bringing both Shelli's hometown, and our Southern new location together! The menu holds an array of raw bar, lobster rolls, Asian style shrimp po boy, pork tacos, or (Keith & Shelli's favorite) the Pastrami’d Sword Fish Sandwich. When you arrive, the host will say the wait is long, but its worth it.

The Darling Oyster

The Darling Oyster

513 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 641-0821

The Darling Oyster is a top favorite! The inside is aesthetically pleasing, with the raw sea food bar being made visible so guests can watch the staff shuck and prepare delicious dishes. The decor is polished and elegant, giving off a southern charm feel. The food ranges from hot/cold lobster rolls, fried chicken sandwiches, raw seafood, and a mean bloody mary! The Bloody Mary can be garnished with po-boys, shrimp, crab legs, lobster claws, you name it! Great spot for brunch!

Classic Carriage Works, LLC

Classic Carriage Works, LLC

10 Guignard Street, Charleston, SC 29401
, (843) 853-3747

Horse and Carriage rides are a staple here in the Low Country! Plan a tour to learn all about the history, architecture, commerce, government, and famous character events that took place here in Charleston!
