After college, Shelli moved to the Bay Area to pursue her career in Tech. A couple years later she found that something was missing from her life..... Kickball! Well, she didn't actually know it was missing, but her friend Shawn who was in the same marching band from college invited her to join nevertheless. After the first games of the spring season in 2017, Shawn's other friend from kickball came over to say hi. Shawn, being the gregarious person she is quickly introduced the two strangers and that was the first time Brandon and Shelli met. Little did she know that Brandon had seen a gorgeous new girl from across the field and began looking for an in to meet this mysterious newcomer. A few weeks later, after getting to know each other a little bit better and attending an amazing concert at shoreline amphitheater with mutual friends, Brandon saw an opportunity, made a move, and the rest was...... well it wasn't history that's for sure. Shelli didn't take the bait. Nevertheless, they remained friends and as Shelli became more integrated in to Kickball their collection of mutual friends grew. As their circle expanded over the next two years Shelli and Brandon found themselves spending more and more time together at events and gatherings. Like it's been said before, persistence pays off. And in mid 2019, after two years of building a friendship and of course frivolous flirting back and forth, Shelli made a move and that time.... the rest really was history.
