How do I get to the venue?

Answer

You can put Round Hill Pines Beach Resort right into your map and the resort will come up. The address is 300 Hwy 50 Zephyr Cove, NV 89448 but the smart phone map will generally take you to the wrong location. If you are coming from Carson City Reno area the entrance will be located on the right side of the road as you head towards California just 2 miles past the stoplight at the Zephyr Cove Resort. If you pass a Safeway you have gone too far. If you are coming from Sacramento/Bay area, you will need to drive 2 miles past the casino corridor at Stateline. The entrance will be located on the left side of the road as you head into Nevada and toward Reno. If you have reached Zephyr Cove Resort you have gone too far. The entrance of Round Hill Pines Beach Resort is located at the top of a hill, there will be a stone wall with an iron gate. We recommend taking an Uber, but if you choose to drive, please allow extra time for parking. Let parking staff know you are here for our wedding.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

🚫🤳 We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We prefer you are present in the moment with us and put your cell phones, cameras, and all other electronics away. We promise to share all the photos and videos of our ceremony from our outstanding photographer and videographer! During the reception, please take all the photos, videos, and boomerangs you want!

Is there transportation to the ceremony?

Answer

We request that our guests take Uber– the venue has limited parking and we want to make sure that everyone can enjoy the party and still get home safely! There is no overnight parking at the venue. The MontBleu Hotel is only 2.5 miles/ 6 minutes from our venue.

Is it gonna snow?

Answer

We sure hope not. Usually the weather in Tahoe in June is pretty mild. Low 60's at night, high 70's to low 80's in the day. Maybe you'll see a cloud! It looks like it will be sunny and 76 with a low of 37😊 We recommend checking the weather in South Lake Tahoe the week leading up to the wedding. Also keep in mind that Tahoe is at an elevation of 6,400 feet, so plenty of sunscreen and extra water will be to your benefit if you are not used to any elevation. Think: 2nd week Lair weather!

What should I wear?

Answer

Clothes! But really, cocktail attire is fine. A light jacket might be useful, unless you want to show everyone how tough you are braving those mild Tahoe nights, but I digress. No heels though, it's on the beach and we'd hate to have a broken ankle at our wedding :)

We moved to Jordy and Burton's dream house (because we finally have a backyard🎉!) on May 1! Please reach out to us for our new address😊

Are pets allowed?

Answer

While we love your dogs, they should stay home, unless they’re on duty. Contrary to popular belief, we are not getting married on a dog friendly beach! Maybe sneak in a rat by hiding it under your hair, Sarah (ask Kyle's sister about it at the wedding, it's a great conversation starter).

Covid precautions?

Answer

Nevada is 100% open as of June 1! 🎉 Our ceremony and reception are both outdoors. Masks are not required at all!!🎉 Hotels probably still are requiring them so don’t fully leave your masks at home!
