Where should I stay? Are there hotel room blocks available?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" section for our hotel recommendation. While we do not have a room block, we have a wedding discount code. We also recommend looking into Airbnbs! Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

We recommend booking your accommodations IMMEDIATELY! With the Memorial Day Holiday and an annual oncology conference, we expect hotels to book up extremely quickly.

What airports are closest to the venue? What transportation options are available?

Answer

Please fly into ORD or MDW airports. While in Chicago, Uber, Lyft, CTA buses, and the "L" system are available. Please see "Travel" section for details.

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding?

Answer

A shuttle will provide transportation to the venue at 5pm and back to the hotel at 11pm.

What time should I arrive? What time will the ceremony begin?

Answer

Please arrive at 5:30pm for a 6pm start. The ceremony will start promptly.

What is the timeline for the wedding weekend? Are there any welcome events, brunches, or after-parties?

We plan to have a welcome party Friday night and a farewell brunch Sunday morning. More details to come! The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Cocktail hour will run from 6:30-7:30pm and reception until 11pm. After party to follow.

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors? What type of shoes would you recommend for the venue? What will the weather likely be like?

Answer

We are aiming for a paved, outdoor ceremony (with a strong rain plan). Wear comfortable dress shoes. The weather will likely be high of 75 degrees with a low of mid 60s.
