Kyla and I quickly bonded in 2007 while on a bus ride to a marching band tournament in high school. What did we bond over? Hans Zimmer and the soundtrack to The Holiday and our love for Celine Dion. (We have since seen Celine Dion in concert together in 2019!) Kyla has been my best friend through different cities and states, and I admire her so much. Her thoughtfulness, intelligence, and love for organization are truly inspiring.

I met Veronica at Warner Bros. in 2015, which wasn't very hard because she sat diagonally across from me, and was the only other (part) Asian in Marketing on our floor. Since then we've traveled to places like Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and Singapore together! She is truly my Monkey mei mei.

Kate is one of the very few friends I made in college. We were roommates for about 2 years while attending CSU Long Beach, in a house of 5 girls. We bonded quickly by playing video games like Portal and Super Mario Bros. together. I was one of Kate's bridesmaids and I'm so happy that she will be one of mine!

Lara is my longest friend of 15 years (so far). While in high school we had always dreamed about moving to LA and making it big, and I'd like to think we've both done just that. I'm so proud of us as we continue our common hobbies together: working out and food.

I met Claudia through Craigslist when I was looking for a room to rent in Burbank in 2015. Who knew Craigslist would facilitate a wonderful friendship? Claudia and I lived together for about 2 years and I became the step-mom to her 2 wonderful shih tzu puppies!

I met Chris back in 2016 at the ad agency Campbell Ewald. Our personal and professional relationship had a rocky start—with me being the new Project Manager coming in to 'fix' things, and him being the producer who already had everything under control—but our trust grew quickly, and I gained an amazing friend and eventual boss. You can regularly find us cheersing steins together at local biergartens and highland games, among other other odd adventures.

In sophomore year of high school I took a Drivers Ed Summer program, and this is where I met Brandon. He showed up two days late to class, exhausted, and was constantly texting people on two separate cell phones (it's 2007 and we're like 15 yrs old mind you). When I asked why he had two of them, he casually replied "One for the East coast bitches, one for the West coast bitches." I couldn't help but laugh and think 'who the hell is this guy?' I never would have known the deep and supportive friendship that would come from that interaction.
Austin Meiners

I was lucky to meet Austin via Shelley in 2016. He and his wife Kate have been some of our most amazing friends, and have gotten us out of the house many a time to see Hollywood Bowl concerts, LAFC games, or just getting away from the city out in Redlands. But they've also helped us clock up some of our longest time indoors with friends while playing classic games like Mario, and Dungeons & Dragons—of which Austin is an exceptional Dungeon Master.

Russell and I met, re-met, and re-met again through years of schooling and Boy Scouts in Fallbrook, CA. In high school we eventually became good friends, and have come together in our adult life to attend music festivals, celebrate holidays, or just grab lunch in whatever city we live in!

I met Tom while working at a particularly crazy startup in Los Angeles, CA. We developed a strong bond over after-work drinks and during-work chaos management! Through difficult times we always found a way to keep ourselves entertained, and have continued our friendship long after.
