Brandon and Shelley met the non-traditional way, on the internet. Through the Facebook dating profiles they connected, instead of just communicating via keyboard Shelley asked Brandon to dinner. Their first date was at The Blind Pig on the Eastside of Athens. Shelley was nervous, but she ended up enjoying every minute of the date and never felt so “normal” on a date. Brandon made it through meeting the ENTIRE family during Memorial Day celebrations soon after which he contributes to breaking the ice with Shelley's dad through a few drinks. Basically after that the rest was history.
