Someone (I believe my sister Sarah) in summer 2020 told me "You wouldn't get on hinge" (Hinge is a dating app). I wanted to spite her, so I got on Hinge! I matched with Andy pretty quickly, and right away I could tell our conversations were different, funny, genuine, and exciting. I said "So are we gonna take this to texting?" We exchanged numbers, began texting, and then mutually agreed to meet in person. I recommended a restaurant called The Eagle in the Highlands and saw Andy roll up in a large Toyota FJ. We talked for four hours about everything in life, and I was so impressed with him! We departed, and he texted me immediately the next morning saying he had a fun time and wanted to see me again. I feel so lucky to have found Andy, and can't wait to begin our lives together!
I decided that I love Shelley on two different occasions. The first time, she was sleeping in the passenger seat of my car on our way back from meeting her Sister and Brother-in-Law in Lexington. The second? The first time she towed me on a waterski! Dating Shelley was an experience filled with fun, humor, and big life changes. Through it all, I've been excited to take the next step coming in September. I can't wait to celebrate with all of you! Also it was me who recommended The Eagle. And I asked for her number first.
