Taylors Falls is about 30 min North of Stillwater and offers canoe and kayak rentals for day trips on the St Croix River as well as the most scenic boat cruise in the area.
Afton State Park is about 30 min south of Stillwater and offers gorgeous hiking with views of the St Croix River Valley.
Stillwater is known for its Historic Downtown with lots of Boutiques and Ma and Pa Shops and Restaurants.
MOA is about 35 min away from Stillwater and is right next to the airport, so it can be a fun stop if you are flying in to MN.
