Stage Fort Park
Right near the Beauport there is a side walk on the water. If you follow the side walk (picturesque in itself) you can walk to Half Moon Beach to see some lovely seaside views.

Some great shopping is walkable from the hotel in gloucester! This store is a good place to start with some fun home goods. Close by is the Village Silversmith (fun jewelry), Dogtown Bookstore (fun used bookstore) and Lone Gull Coffee.
Halibut Point State Park
A favorite for walking outdoors. Its a retired quarry where you can see some cool granite on the water. About 20 minutes from downtown Rockport.
Bearskin Neck
An artsy little street full of shops, food and views. Some of our fav shops are Sandcastles, the Country Store, the Pewter shop and the glass house. If you want some lobster and clam chowder the Fish Shack is the place to be. For some coffee and sandwiches try the bean and leaf cafe or brothers brew. About a 15 minute drive from the Beauport.
