How We Met

Rachel and Brad first met in a real estate training class in 2015. They didn't think much of it, just a quick 'hi' and 'bye' with a tiny bit of flirting. Little did they know over the next 2 years they both (secretly) kept one another in each other's sights. The moment both were single, Rachel took the shot and asked Brad out. Brad said 'Pizza?', she said 'sure!'. After realizing real estate and pizza were a common thread, there wasn't much that could stand in their way!

The Proposal

The day of the "big moment" Brad had to be particularly sneaky. He scheduled a date night on Valentines day (cliche, we know...) but here's how it panned out. The ring is an heirloom from a family member that would be suspicious if it went missing. As they loaded up the car to head out, Brad had to run back in to "get his wallet" aka grab the ring and the sneaky move was successful. Date location was easy choice, Pizzaria Gusto, same place they had their first date. Timing. Brad had no idea but didn't want a big audience so he decided to take a stroll though the Paseo District after dinner. It was a cool, clear night with a beautiful moon and a very nervous Brad. They found a spot with tables and chairs where nobody was hanging out then he went for it, popped the question and Rachel said "yes". Now, thinking this went off without an audience was the plan BUT a waitress working nearby happened to catch a glimpse of what was going down. She congratulated us and we had a little private celebration. 'Twas an amazing night and the start of an exciting engagement!
