FAQs

Question

Why Tulum?

Answer

Tulum has all the things we love: the perfect blend of jungle and beach, great music and incredible food. Chic, spiritual, and full of magic. It's the perfect place to seal our bond, in our own way.

Question

Is your wedding child friendly?

Answer

Our wedding is adults only. We love your children, but most of our events are not child friendly. We hope you can use our wedding as an excuse to ask the grandparents for a favor. If you'd like to bring your kid to Tulum anyway, please let us know and we can help you arrange childcare during the wedding (kids are also welcome at our Sunday brunch). Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is it ok if I don't come to every event?

Answer

Yes! We want this to be a fun vacation for you. Feel free to pick and choose which events you want to join. Just let us know via the RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Tulum in November is generally warm, tropical, and pleasant—perfect for the beach and exploring outdoors. Daytime temperatures are typically around 80–85 °F with nights cooling to low 70s. Expect some humidity and rain, though showers are usually brief.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

For the wedding, pack a cocktail dress or light linen suits. The rest of the weekend will be casual. Sun dresses, bathing suits, and sandals are a must. Make sure to bring reef safe sunscreen for the cenotes. As all events will be outside, we recommend sunglasses, hats, and anything else you need to feel comfortable in the heat.

Question

What should I know about traveling to Tulum?

Answer

Tulum is the jungle! It might be humid, it might rain, there might be bugs. You should only drink bottled water. Wifi can be spotty. We encourage you to embrace it as part of the fun of the jungle.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No! Our travel concierge will help you book a shuttle from the airport to Radhoo hotel. Once you're there, all our wedding events are walking distance from the hotel. If you are staying somewhere other than the Beach Zone, you can take taxies to the wedding events. No car needed.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the travel page for hotel info :)

Question

Why don't I see a meal selection option?

Answer

Tulum's vibrant food scene is a big reason why we chose to have our wedding here. Our wedding, pool party, and brunch will be catered by Michelin mention restaurants (yumm). Meals will be served family style! We think this will be a fun and communal way to feast. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know in the RSVP and we'll be sure to take care of you.

Question

What should I budget for this trip?

Answer

All wedding events from Friday yoga through Sunday brunch are hosted. If you’d like to join our optional Friendsmoon activities (Gitano Beach Club and the Cenote Tour), please budget approximately $300 per person. Outside of these optional activities, guests should plan for travel, accommodations, and any personal meals or activities you choose to enjoy.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1. Early RSVPs are greatly appreciated — they help us with planning. Thank you!
