I’ll highlight this again here just in case you didn’t see it elsewhere: the dress code is Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire. For a more detailed breakdown of what this entails, please see the “Wedding Attire” tab above!
We just ask that guests avoid wearing any shades of white or anything too close to the bridesmaids’ dark brown dresses. The guys will be in navy suits if you’d like to choose something different, but you’re welcome to wear blue if that’s your style!
The ceremony will be held outdoors at the Inn’s gardens, followed by a cocktail hour on the lawn next to the reception barn. Dinner will be served inside the barn, and the evening reception will flow between dancing and dessert in the barn and relaxing by the fire pit on the lawn.
While we’re hoping for the best, the venue can provide heat lamps if the temperature drops below 60°F. We’ll be sure to use them if it gets chilly. In the event of heavy rain, all events will likely take place in the events barn.
Yes! There will be ample parking available across the street from the venue. More details to come.
Unfortunately, no. Guests are responsible for their own transportation.
Yes—please let us know your dietary needs when you fill out your RSVP card.
Yes! While we are still nailing down the details, drinks will be provided.
We’ve reserved seats for you. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will be listed.
We’ll miss you! Please RSVP “no” with the RSVP card included with your formal invitation as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Absolutely! We’ll be dancing the night away and can’t wait to see your best moves on the dance floor.
Don't worry! There are many great lodging options nearby, some of which we’ve listed under the “Travel” tab. There are also Airbnb's in the area—just be sure to book your stay EARLY, as fall is a popular time for tourism in Vermont. Many hotels and BnBs in the area fill up as soon as 6 months in advance! (For reference, that's March of 2026~)
We’re so glad you asked! One of the reasons we fell in love with this venue is the many amenities it offers. Your stay includes a full breakfast each morning in the dining room. On-site perks you’re welcome to enjoy include two hot tubs, two saunas, a comfortably furnished porch, and a well-stocked beer and wine store in the main house.
Our room block requires booking at least two nights, September 25th–27th. To confirm, please call Lynne and Darren at (802) 326-4306 with your name and a credit card. (You won’t be charged until after your stay.) We kindly ask all guests to confirm by end of December 2025 so we can release any unused rooms to other guests.
If you’d like to add extra nights for travel, we strongly recommend booking those when you first call to confirm your room. Our wedding falls during peak leaf-peeping season in Vermont, and accommodations fill up quickly.
You can cancel or adjust additional nights up to 30 days prior to your stay without penalty. Because of this flexibility, we highly encourage guests who are flying to consider booking an extra night for travel wiggle room.
Not at all. We know traveling to Vermont is already a commitment, and your presence is the most important gift to us. That said, we’ll always appreciate any gifts you’d like to share.
That’s so kind! Please see the “Registry” tab for a list of items we’ve picked out. Alternatively, donations to our honeymoon fund are also appreciated!
We kindly ask that gifts be shipped directly to us so we don’t have to worry about transporting them back to Connecticut. If you’d love to see us open your gift, let us know—we’d be happy to set up a call!
