Question

Can I bring a guest? Are kids welcome?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we are keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP. For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding adults-only with the exception of those in our wedding party. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Please join us in your best cocktail/formal attire.

Where will the celebrations take place? Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Our celebrations will be hosted in Austin, Texas. The ceremony will be held at St. Ignatius Martyr Cathlic Church (126 W Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78704) and the reception will be held at Hotel Van Zandt (605 Davis St, Austin, TX 78701). Please see the 'schedule' tab for more details regarding timing.

Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will not be any shuttle service as the venues are relatively close to one another. Uber is plentiful and we can help with any logistics questions you have.

How long will I have between the ceremony and reception? What should I do?

Answer

You will have around 2 hours between the ceremony and the reception! Please see the "Things to Do" tab for our list of favorite things to do in Austin!

Is there parking available at the ceremony and reception locations?

Answer

Ceremony: There is parking available at the ceremony (St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church) Reception: Overnight parking for guests is $62.00 per night + tax. Parking for the event, under 8 hours has been discounted to $30 + tax per vehicle. Parking can be hit or miss downtown, so we do recommend catching an Uber/Lyft if possible.

What's the weather like that time of year?

Answer

The temperature in Austin during this time of year typically ranges from 48°F to 64°F. Both the ceremony and reception will be fully indoors, so you won't have to worry about the weather during the events, but in between, you might need an extra layer!

Do you have hotel recommendations or a room block?

Answer

Yes, we have a room block with a discounted rate at Hotel Van Zandt (location of the reception). Please see the "Travel" tab for more details! Rooms will need to be booked by 11/12/2025.

Are photos okay during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, they are! But please be mindful of flash / other distractions.
