Am I allowed to bring my children to the wedding?
Answer
While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. With our barn venue and full Mass ceremony, we feel this allows for the safest and most comfortable experience for all guests. We hope you enjoy a special evening with us!

Will I be allowed to take photos during the cermony?
Answer
No. To honor the sacredness of our wedding Mass, we will have an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that all phones be turned off and no photos be taken during the service. Our photographer will be capturing every moment, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you afterward.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. If a plus one is included, it will be clearly noted on your RSVP.

Please RSVP by October 24, 2026 so we can finalize catering and our guest count. If anything changes after that date, we kindly ask that you contact Xavier or Shelby as soon as possible.

Where and what time is the ceremony?
Answer
St. Jude Catholic Church 4700 Palmetto Rd, Benton, LA 71006 The ceremony begins at 12:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive 20–30 minutes early to be seated. Guests arriving after the start time will be seated at an appropriate moment out of respect for the service.

The Barn at Coyote Creek 9460 McCain Rd, Shreveport, LA 71107 Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM, followed by the reception at 6:00 PM.

Is there a gap between the ceremony and the reception?
Answer
Yes. There will be a break between the ceremony and reception for photos with the bridal party and family. We invite you to enjoy lunch, explore Shreveport, or relax at your hotel before the evening begins.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be indoors at the church. The reception will take place inside the barn, with access to an outdoor patio for cocktail hour and fresh air, weather permitting.

December in Louisiana is typically cool and pleasant, though weather can vary. We recommend checking the forecast a few days before the wedding and dressing in layers to stay comfortable.

Yes. The barn is fully equipped with heating and air conditioning for guest comfort.

Yes, both venues are wheelchair accessible. Please note the reception has a gravel parking area, but there are smooth concrete walkways leading into the barn.

On-site gravel parking is available at the barn. However, we strongly encourage carpooling as parking is limited.

Yes, Uber and Lyft are available. However, we recommend renting a car for the most convenient way to explore the area.

Semi-formal attire—tuxes, suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses are all welcome. We kindly ask guests to dress modestly for the Catholic ceremony. Inspiration photos are available in the gallery section of our website.

Yes. The wedding party will be wearing shades of lavender, black tuxes, and winter green accents. We kindly ask guests to avoid white, ivory, and lavender tones reserved for the wedding party.

We will be serving Cajun-inspired cuisine to honor our Louisiana roots, along with additional guest-friendly options. If you have dietary restrictions, please reach out to us directly.

Yes, we will have an open bar featuring beer, wine, daiquiris, and cocktails. We kindly ask guests to plan transportation responsibly. Tipping bartenders is appreciated.

The celebration will conclude at 10:00 PM. Bar service will end before the reception closes to allow time for a smooth send-off and departure.

Yes! A send-off for Xavier & Shelby will take place at 9:50 PM. We would love for you to stay and celebrate this final moment with us.

Where can I find the registry and will a card box be available at the wedding?

Our registry is linked on this website. Gifts may be shipped directly to our home address or brought to the wedding. A card box will be available at the reception.
