Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding ceremony and reception. We kindly ask that all kids have vacated the premises by 8:30pm as the reception music will not be “clean” versions and there will be more alcohol sitting out.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and suits or nice clothes for men. If you are wearing jeans, we kindly ask that they are nice, clean and hole-free.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. For those permitted to be a plus one, you will have the option to add one on the RSVP card you received in your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will move indoors in case of rainy weather. Please note that guests will be asked to enjoy cocktail hour on the covered patio while our bridal party, vendors and coordinators work hard to transform the ceremony area back into a reception area.

Where will the celebrations take place?

The ceremony and reception will take place at The Rafters. The address is 5906 Hwy 421 S. Bedford, KY 40006.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar! The drinks are on us… but the hangover is on you! Please be cautious, we do not want you to drink and drive! If you drink and are unable to drive, we will have designated sober drivers to take you home. You can leave your vehicle at the venue, all vehicles left overnight need to be picked up by 9am out of respect for the venue owner.

Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages?

Answer

Per our vendor contract, no outside alcoholic beverages can be brought into the venue. We will have an open bar if you wish to drink.

Where do I park?

Answer

Directly beside the venue is reserved for vendors and handicap parking only. When you pull into the venue, there is a parking lot on the left designated for all guests.
