The nearest airport to Sedona is Flagstaff (FLG). However, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport has more flight options. Airport shuttles run throughout the day from Phoenix, Flagstaff and Prescott and make stops at several hotels in Sedona. If you’re driving, be sure to check traffic as there are only two roads into and out of Sedona: State Route 89A (via highway 260 through Cottonwood to the south or I-17 from Flagstaff to the north) and State Route 179.
Summer in Sedona has an average daytime high just above 90° with evenings cooling into the low 70's. Don't forget to pack those golf shoes.
