Rooms still available as of Sep 9th! Small hotel block booked at a discounted rate for the night of the wedding! Rooms with 1 king bed ($205) or 2 queen beds available ($227), all paid upon arrival at hotel. Call the hotel directly at 667-275-7200 and request a room booked under confirmation #87416438, under Shelby Pickerell's group reservation. These discounted rates are only available for the night of November 14th, but you can specifically request to stay in the same room the night before or after if you are arriving early or staying later. This hotel has parking available for $20/day and is a 13 minute drive from the venue. We have a shuttle bus between this hotel and the venue, departing at 3pm and 3:35pm and leaving the venue at 9:30pm and 10:10pm! You are more than welcome to book other accommodations (hotels, AirBnBs, etc), and if you'd like you can meet at this hotel to take the shuttle bus with other guests. We recommend using a taxi/Uber/Lyft to get to the shuttle pickup if you are staying elsewhere, but we will be scoping out free/cheaper parking options in the area soon.
Flight
BWI is the most convenient airport, approximately 45 minutes from the recommended hotel and venue! If you prefer to not rent a car, there is a light rail that goes from the airport to Lutherville (about 1 hr, $4/person), and from there you can take a bus or Uber/Lyft to the hotel.

There is parking at the venue, but only for about 50-60 vehicles. The venue is up a private road that will be dark at night, and may be challenging for Ubers/Lyfts. Please consider using the shuttle from the recommended hotel. There will be an open bar if that helps make your decision!

Other airport options include Dulles International Airport (IAD) which is 1-1.5 hour drive from the venue, and Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA) which is a little over an hour from the Castle. These options do not have easy public transit options though, so plan for a ride via taxi/Lyft/rental car.

For those of you traveling farther and maybe considering making a vacation of your visit, some locations that are within driving distance include Baltimore (~30 minutes), Annapolis (~1 hr), Washington, DC (~1 hr), Philadelphia (~2 hrs), Shenandoah National Park (2.5 hrs), and Charlottesville (~3.5 hrs). There's also tons of smaller historical towns like Gettysburg, Frederick, Harper's Ferry, and Chincoteague. Feel free to reach out for recommendations on what to do if you're interested!
