Rudy's mother (Mindy) met my mom at the post office one day, while standing in line Mindy told my mom that her son is looking for people to work in the office at his business. So my mom came home, told me, then I went in the next day and got hired on the spot. When I was introduced to Rudy, I have never seen someone stare and drop their mouth the way Rudy did to me. From that day, I worked there everyday, going back and forth to college. Believe it or not, Rudy and I were great friends. We would vent to each other about relationship issues, telling each other we deserve better, never thinking we were meant for each other. Then one say Rudy told me he was single, and it was the same day I had become single as well. A couple weeks went by of flirting, laughing, and talking, then I realized, I NEED TO ASK THIS MAN OUT. So I went up to him at the end of my shift, and asked Rudy on a date. We planned to hangout on the weekend. So Saturday came around, I picked up pizza and went to Rudys house, we spent the whole night talking, watching Wayne's World, and having so much fun together. From that night on, we just started spending every second together we could, and if I recall, to this day Rudy has never actually asked me to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to 2.5 years later, and we have decided that we are ready to get married and spend the rest of our lives together. He brings out the Shelby that has been hiding and worried of what the world thinks. Every woman deserves a man like Rudy and I am beyond blessed to be able to one day soon, call this man my husband.
