Hotel Blocks

September is peak season in the North Fork, so it's in everyone's best interest to book as early as possible! Please fill out the survey (linked below) that also contains hotel block information. Once we've gathered answers from everyone, we'll be in touch with how to book your preferred room option. If hotels are not your jam, no fear; Airbnb/VRBO's are also a great option in the area and Ubers and taxis are very accessible. Let us know if any questions come up while filling this out! Train

Long Island Railroad

From NYC: New York to Greenport train services, operated by Long Island Rail Road, depart from New York City's Penn Station with platform change in Ronkonkoma. The journey, including transfers, takes approximately 3h 45m. From JFK Airport: You'll take a short AirTran transfer to Jamaica to hop on the Long Island Railroad. From Jamaica you'll platform change in Ronkonkoma and then head straight to Greenport. The journey, including transfers, takes approximately 2h 45m.

Hampton Jitney (Bus)

Greenport bus, operated by Hampton Jitney, leaves from various locations in NYC & Brooklyn. Typically 46 buses run weekly, although weekend and holiday schedules can vary so check in advance. In addition to Greenport, the Jitney makes local stops at all the other little towns throughout the North Fork. View Hampton Jitney website or click learn more to view other route schedules.

Drive

Driving to Greenport is a favorite road trip and takes about 2 hours from NYC. Getting there by car allows easy access to local wineries, beaches and restaurants. There are several rental car companies at both airports as well as renting through Turo (our favorite option).
