We met at the end of my freshman and Preston's junior year at Harding University. We had mutual friends that connected us on our very last night/show of Spring Sing. There was an instant connection the moment that we met, both teasing each other and making each other laugh. We started off just as friends, hanging out in group settings until Preston got the courage to ask me to hang out just one-on-one. That night, we drove around for two hours before Preston stopped and told me that he wanted to be more than friends. Luckily for him, I agreed! After a summer of getting to know each other better while long distance, we started dating on August 19th, 2023. Since that day, the Lord has blessed us more than we ever could've imagined.

On March 30th, 2025, Preston asked me to marry him! It truly was the best day ever. He proposed to me in the field behind our church in Searcy. He read Psalms 128:3 over us, from a Bible he had personalized with my new name on the front, and then got down on one knee!

Once we are married, Preston and I will start our lives together in Searcy, AR! We will be staying in Searcy for the first few years of our marriage where Preston will work as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and I will be studying in Harding's Physical Therapy school. When I graduate, we will move to wherever the Lord leads!
