Phil is a New Yorker, and Shelby is a California girl. Fate (and Hinge) brought us together in May 2024, when Phil moved to California for a new tennis job. Shelby's friends quickly nicknamed him "New York Phil" and after Phil begged Shelby for a second date, we were inseparable. Not long after, during a weekend of wine tasting in Napa, we made it official. Napa quickly became a special place for us. A year later, just one month before our big move to New York City, Phil surprised Shelby with a romantic boat ride and proposed at sunset on the Napa River. We got to celebrate with our friends all weekend afterwards at Bottlerock music festival, and it was truly magical! Now, we are living it up in New York City with our pup Ivy, but Napa will always hold a piece of our hearts. We can't wait to return there to say "I do" with all of you!!!
