In Loving Memory

In honor of those who cannot be here today, but are present in our hearts - today and always-

Eileen Lee Stachel

Mother of the bride

Passed on July 13, 2006 - I thought of you today but that is nothing new I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence I often speak your name All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I will never part god has you in His arms I have you in my heart. -

Mike Stachel

Grandfather of the bride

Passed June 9, 2023 - A giant pine, magnificent and old Stood staunch against the sky and all around Shed beauty, grace and power. Within its fold birds safely reared their young. The velvet ground beneath was gentle, and the cooling shade gave cheer to passers by. Its towering arms a landmark stood, erect and unafraid, As if to say, “Fear naught from life’s alarms”. It fell one day. Where it had dauntless stood was loneliness and void. But men who passed paid tribute – and said, “To know this life was good, It left it’s mark on me. Its work stands fast”. And so it lives. Such life no bonds can hold – This giant pine, magnificent and old. -

Arleen E. Stachel

Grandmother of the bride

Passed on April 14, 2020 - It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did no go alone. A part of us went with you, the day god took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we'd walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill. -

Thomas J. Lynam

Grandfather of the groom

Passed on February 5, 2021 - May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may god hold you in the palm of your hand. -

Tizzy and Riley

Grooms beloved dogs

Passed in 2021 - They will not go quietly, the pets who’ve shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them… and always will. -
