Nick actually worked for my mom, Graci and she introduced us. We became friends for two years and started to drift apart. My mom invited us both to Dave and Busters and we really hit it off. We started talking again and hanging out more.

Our first time hanging out as more than friends was at a dog park. It was the first time Nick met my dog Kadi and it was love at first sight with them. We had an amazing time talking with each other and thought that there could be some chemistry between us.

We were making dinner at the house, we were making chicken Alfredo. Shelby accidentally opened the wrong end of the pepper shaker, it got everywhere. We both were laughing so hard, we ended up remaking the sauce. We got the table set to eat and food, Nick lit some candles. Before we started eating Nick let me know how much he loves me and made a speech to me. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with no hesitation i said "YES". I was speechless, i had always wanted a personal proposal just between us.
