Michaiah and I met our junior year at Twin Lakes High School. We ended up having four classes together so we were seeing each other every day. We also were attending the same youth group together at this time. We finally exchanged numbers and went on our first date to Wendys for some nuggets. Every since then we called them our nug dates. After a few months of becoming close friends Michaiah asked me to be his girlfriend sitting on the tailgate of his truck looking up at the stars in that exact Wendys parking lot. We both graduated and started attending Purdue University both aspiring to be veterinarians. The summer before our senior year we went on our annual visit to my grandparents house in Fort Myers Florida. Little did I know this trip would be different. Michaiah had convinced me to go to my grandma's favorite beach, the lighthouse beach on Sanibel Island, to get some pictures taken with our "family tree". All of sudden he got down on one knee and said "I have something for you" pulling out his free earbud packet from the plane ride. Now Michaiah had already joked around with acting like he was going to propose before, so of course I didn't believe him until I saw him pull out the ring from the little packet. To say I was in shock is an understatement. Now we have both graduated with our Bachelors and Michaiah is attending Purdue's Veterinary School and I am study for my Master's in Animal Science. We are so excited for this next adventure in life and to have you all along for the ride.
