FAQs

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Massachusetts traffic can be wonderfully unpredictable, so we kindly ask that guests plan to arrive by 3:15 PM to allow extra time for travel and parking. We’ll have a bubbly glass of champagne waiting to welcome you! Once the ceremony begins, we won’t be able to seat late arrivals, but we completely understand that things happen—if you’re running behind, please wait and join us for cocktail hour afterward. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at the same location, Barker House in Scituate, Massachusetts, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration without needing to travel between venues.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

The Barker House is located in Scituate, Massachusetts. We recommend using GPS or a navigation app for the most accurate directions. Complimentary on-site parking will be available for all guests.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Children are very welcome to attend our wedding celebration; however, our ceremony will be adults-only so everyone can fully enjoy the moment. We will be providing onsite childcare from a trusted nanny service during the ceremony and cocktail hour, our treat. If you’d like to continue the evening kid-free, you’re welcome to extend childcare with the nannies; in that case, we kindly ask that families cover the additional cost (we’ll share details closer to the date). Childcare will be onsite, and parents are welcome to check in at any time. A quiet room will also be available for naps or early bedtime, just bring a pack ’n play if needed.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if a plus one has been reserved for you. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed.

Question

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly please RSVP by June 1, 2026. You may respond directly on our wedding website, and a QR code with an additional link to the site will also be included with your invitation for your convenience.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at the Nantasket Beach Resort, and the booking link can be found in the Travel section of our website. Mario and I will also be staying at the resort and would love to have you nearby. If the room block fills up, you’re welcome to stay wherever is most comfortable for you—Airbnb is a great option. Our wedding will take place in Scituate, and the resort is located in Nantasket, but anywhere in the surrounding area will work beautifully.

Question

Will dinner be served, and will there be options for special dietary needs?

Answer

Yes, dinner will be served at the reception and will feature a thoughtfully prepared menu with a variety of options. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other dietary accommodations will be available. Please be sure to note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can ensure everyone is well taken care of.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. A link to our wedding registry can be found under the ‘Registry’ page on our wedding website.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos during your ceremony?

Answer

Your presence means the world to us. To ensure we all share this special moment without distractions, we kindly request no photos or videos during the ceremony. Thank you for helping us capture this memory through your eyes, not lenses! We have hired two incredible photographers, and I promise we will share their work!

Question

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Prior to the week of our wedding please feel free to reach out to me or Mario directly. However, if you have questions the week of our wedding or on our wedding day please reach out to my dear friend, Robin as she has graciously agreed to be our primary point of contact. Robin: (828) 301-4943
