Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place at Lenny's family's home in the Catskills. It is located at 172 Horseneck Road, Freehold, NY. (It may also show up as Cairo, NY in a GPS - choosing either will get you to the correct place!)

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting our guests come ready to celebrate in cocktail attire. Additionally, both our ceremony and reception will be taking place on a grassy field, so please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear!

What is Cocktail Attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire is a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. To an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress. How do I RSVP?

Answer

There will be an addressed and pre-paid RSVP card included in your invitation, you may also RSVP via this website under the RSVP tab. We ask that everyone kindly reply by July 24th, 2022 to provide our vendors adequate time to prepare for the specified number of guests.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

We do! When possible, please include the hashtag #fromhotmesstomessina in your photos from wedding related activities so we can excitedly access and browse through everything while we eagerly await our professonal photos and video!

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting informal welcome drinks Friday 9/23. Additionally, Holiday Inn Express and Suites offers complimentary breakfast for all guests. If you are partaking in our room block, please feel free to join us for a very informal breakfast in the hotel lobby on Sunday 9/25!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Coxsackie, NY. Please go to our "Accomodations" tab for additional information regarding how to book.

Will the festivities be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors, rain or shine! We will have a large tent for the day, however, if the weather is cooperative, we are anticipating both ceremony and cocktail our to take place outside of the tent. Please note, most of the event will take place on grass, so appropriate footwear is key!

Will there be an afterparty?

Answer

Yes! While we will not be switching locations, once our vendors and the band pack up, we anticipate continuing the celebration in a more informal manor.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

While we are doing our best to ensure there is something to eat for everyone, please let us know if you have any pressing dietary restrictions or allergies that need to be accomodated.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service providing transportation to and from the venue from Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Coxsackie, NY.
