Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends that will stand by our sides as we say "I do"

Lauren Gassie

Maid of Honor

Lauren and I were born on the same day, in the same hospital, just a few rooms down from each other. We even have birth marks in the same place, so naturally, we were destined to be best friends. We didn't officially meet until the infant room at All Saints where we would cry if we weren't in cribs right next to each other. We've been inseparable since! We’ve been through life’s highs and lows and I know I can continue to count on her for her love and support for many years to come.

Chase Bleke

Best Man

Chase and I have been getting into trouble together since high school. From sharing a dorm room at UF to sharing a tent on the Appalachian Trail, we have been through it all. I give credit to Chase for introducing me to New Orleans cuisine which is my second true love, only behind Shelby.

Katelin Henry

Maid of Honor

Katelin and her family moved right next door to my grandparents when we were 2 years old. Our moms were pregnant at the same time with our younger siblings (shout out to Aubs and Jamesy) and I guess our friendship started around the same time as theirs. My very first memories of Katelin were of her swinging on the swing in her back yard just high enough to peep her head over the fence to ask if we could have a play date, to which I never declined. She’s my go-to for a great night out that can always be found on Snapchat the next morning.

Xavier Braham

Groomsman

Xavier has always brought the life of my party. He is the friend who is always up for having fun, no matter how inappropriate the timing. If one of my friends could win the lottery, I hope it would be Xavier because I know he would make the most interesting purchases of the group. The Mamba is also currently the betting favorite to lose his phone on the wedding night.

Caroline Peet

Bridesmaid

Caroline isn't just Justin's sister, but the little sister that I never had. When I first found Justin on Facebook, his profile picture was with Caroline, to which I immediately thought "Oh great, of course he has a girlfriend!" Thank goodness I read that one wrong! Both growing up being the only girl with two brothers, we have learned in no time each others grossest habits, the occasional petty disagreement, and the frequent raiding of closets, but no matter what, we'll love each other till the end. Caroline is my girl when it comes to editing that perfect insta pic and whenever Justin and I are ready for a dog, she’s the first person we will consult!

Jamie Calabrese

Groomsman

I have known Jamie since early elementary school, which was around the same time as he hit 6ft tall and had to start shaving. Our bond was truly formed while playing Simpson's Road Rage on the original X-Box and eating ungodly amounts of Totino's frozen pizzas. Jamie sets the bar high on the dance floor, so keep an eye out for this Italian stallion at the reception.

James McLean

Groomsman

James is the only guy in the group who can compete with myself for biggest Gator football fan and largest 'personal best' redfish. He can usually be found somewhere on a beach with a corona in one hand and a cast net in the other. We may have met because of Shelby, but regardless, I think it is safe to say we were meant to be bros for life.

Colin Hamilton

Groomsman

Colin is a lover of Irish breakfast shots and white Dodges with Hemi’s. Our relationship started with many nights at Grog House bar in Gainesville and grew deeper over a mutual love for spearfishing and freediving. He is my forever dive buddy and a man I can count on to always request "Don't Fear the Reaper" when there is a live band. You can typically find us at Irish Kevin's on Duval Street in Key West.

Jovaughn Howard

Groomsman

I have known Jovaughn since we first met playing club soccer together back in about 6th grade. He is the guy I can always count on, whether it be helping me move heavy furniture, shopping for a new truck, or getting on the water to do some fishing. Jovaughn likes expensive whiskey, lifted trucks, and is a snob for artificial lures. When he's not reeling in an over-slot snook, you can find him at either Express or H&M in the mall. He is the only friend I would trust to put together my outfit for a night out.

Miguel Aguirre

Groomsman

Like many others, Miguel has been around since the beginning. The period of time that best represents our relationship is the entire summer month in college where we ordered a wagon wheel (20") pizza almost every night while binge watching How I Met Your Mother. He has served many a role in my life from long-time gym partner to spring break cruise roommate. Miguel is a strong FIFA teammate and one of few people I trust with restaurant and Netflix show recommendations.

Will Allen

Groomsman

Will and I were friends as young first graders until I moved to a different school. We reacquainted in high school and picked up right where we left off. He is a man of many talents, including but not limited to, hitting a fastball, keeping a pair of Air Force Ones perfectly white, and making cocktails from unconventional combinations of liquors. I can always count on Will whether it be for a good throwback playlist or just to grab a beer and talk about life.

Joe Adel

Groomsman

If I were starting a band, Joe would be my first call. He is sure to bring the good vibes to the party. Joe also has the drive necessary to show up on campus at 5am for a tailgate, get the smoker running, and turn up the tunes. Voted most likely to drive a 60’s VW van, it’s easy to believe he was born in the wrong decade.
