Shelby and Joshua met in college at Whitworth University. After three years of being in mutual friend groups and crossing paths, Shelby asked Joshua to go frolfing (frisbee-golfing) where they spent nearly 7 hours together. Their first official date was two days later at Rocky Rococos in Downtown Spokane. The two fell in love through frolfing and cribbage, through a love of reading and bookstores, and time well spent with each other. Shelby and Joshua were blessed to grow closer during the craziness of 2020 and learned to lean on each other in new ways. Joshua proposed at 11:30 at night after Shelby got home from working a loooong wedding and caught her completely by surprise. He was so proud and she was befuddled! Saying yes was so easy, though. Shelby and Joshua are so excited for their future together and are looking forward to celebrating with loved ones from all over at their wedding in their home state in March. Fall 2016 - We first met May 2018 - Joshua graduated from Whitworth U February 2019 - Joshua started a Masters program in Theology at Whitworth U April 2019 - First frolf & first date May 2019 - Officially dating September 2019 - Said "I love you" January 24, 2020 - Shelby graduated from Whitworth U January 25, 2020 - Joshua proposed with a rubber band! May 2020 - Shelby started a Masters program in Organizational Management at Ashford U June 2020 - Roadtrip to California (Joshua got permission from the Krugs) August 9, 2020 - Joshua popped the question! March 29, 2021 - Said "I do!" April 2, 2022 - Getting to celebrate with all of you!
