We both attended the same middle school which is where we first heard of eachother per say, but with there being a two year age gap, we didnt really know eachother. Fast forward 3 years to the summer going into 11th grade, we met again. Summer of 2016 was one we will both remember. We both had came to the local rope swing with different friend groups where all the teenagers hung out, and immediately recognized each other, quickly exchanged numbers, and added each other on social media! We ended up talking on the phone all night that night and decided we really enjoyed each other's time and wanted to start seeing each other. We have never been apart since! Being high school sweethearts, we literally GREW together. Learners permits, licenses, high school graduations. We both attended the same high-school where we watched each other play sports and cheered each other on. We experienced long distance and successfully overcame it when we went away to college and still knew that without a doubt, we were meant for each other. It has been so sweet to look back to what we were and what we are now. Two young kids at 15 and 17 that SWORE we had it all figured out but just like our parents tell us from their own learnings, we most certainly do not have it figured out lol. Now we are eight, almost nine years spent together. We have been so blessed by God in our relationship. We graduated college together and got our "adult" jobs. We watched each other succeed in life. There really is such a special feeling when you look at the one you love and know those are the same eyes you grew up looking into. We faced many challenges (as all couples do) and persevered. We now have a beautiful life with our own home, kitty, and successful careers. We also share such a loving family between the two of us. Everyday we continue to realize that we love each other more and more than we could imagine. Growth means we can also look back at all the changes we have been through and how intertwined our lives just are. Going from "I cant be home late, I have a curfew" to "can you pick up cat litter please?" Its really so funny how we go through different phases of life together. We are so blessed to be in the place we are in life and the love we found in our struggles of life. We are excited to spend our big day with you and all the ones we love. - The future Wrights.
