Jeylani & Shelby met in 2015 while attending Physical Therapy School at Shenandoah University. It was a long journey, but they stuck through it and graduated together in 2018. Unbeknownst to Shelby, Jeylani had his eye on her from the get-go. You can say the “spark” started on August 17th, 2019 when out on the town with some friends in Arlington, VA.

We were on vacation in Fenwick Island, Delaware. Jeylani tried his best to keep it a secret but fell short when he asked if Shelby was going to get her nails done before leaving for their trip. Nonetheless, he planned a romantic private boat tour and proposed at sunset the evening of August 6th, 2021.
