We have gone to the same school since elementary, but only to realize my senior year of high school. Jason likes to say I've had my eyes on him before he had ever known me...okay maybe that's the truth. We began to talk more and learn about each other as time went on, and let me tell you, my parents were not too fond of their little girl talking with a guy from college (Obviously, it turned out all good haha). Flash forward to our first date, at Art Prize in downtown Grand Rapids where I also met one of his sisters for the first time...Jason must have known he'd be keeping me around for a while by the looks of it. During our time dating and learning more about each other, we found a great hobby of seeing lighthouses. Together we have traveled all over our home state of Michigan and half the country, taking photos of hundreds of lighthouses. And in the summer of 2017, we planned our biggest trip yet as a couple to Maine for more lighthouses and exploring. After dating for over three years on July 5th, 2018 he proposed to me at Morris Island, with a lighthouse of course! This was just the ending of our amazing cruise to the Bahamas, but just the beginning all at the same time. We are excited and grateful for all our friends and family to be apart of our special day two years in the making!
