Jake and Shelby were at a friend’s wedding spending some time together during the reception, watching the others dance and party. The music was loud, so Jake asked Shelby if she wanted to take a walk somewhere more quiet and be able to spend some one-on-one time together. There had been a bad thunderstorm earlier in the day so they went and walked over to where the outdoor ceremony was supposed to be before the storm, just to look around. The two of them strolled for a little bit and then when they were walking back to the reception, Jake asked God in a silent prayer; “Is it time?” to which Shelby then out of nowhere said, “So what’s next?”. All Jake could hear was a loud “Yes" from God. Jake then told Shelby to follow him back to the groom’s suite so he could grab something. He grabbed a water bottle and a ring pop that he had found in his bag earlier that day. This ring pop was given to him by Shelby’s mom about 3 months prior and it had been sitting in his bag since then, as she had also been proposed to with a ring pop. Jake and Shelby went back out into the venue field they had just been walking in, and Jake finally *popped* the question.
