FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and suits (tie optional) for men. We kindly ask that guests wear either black or a shade of dark green. Khaki pants are welcome for men, but please avoid jeans. Feel free to reach out to Shelby with any questions.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance to allow us enough time to prepare a meal option for you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Absolutely! Children are welcome, but if you are able to arrange childcare — you can relax and celebrate with us for the night!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we're happy to offer a limited open bar with complimentary drinks for all our guests throughout the evening. You're also welcome to bring your own alcohol if you'd like.

The ceremony will start at 5:30pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony to find a seat and get settled.

Question

Yes, parking will be available at Talley Creek Farms. We will have a designated area for everyone to park to ensure there are no vehicles in the background of our photos.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes, we'd love for you to join us! We'll be continuing the celebration in downtown Washington. We recommend using Uber or designating a driver ahead of time. Smart choices only!
