While we both attended the University of Dayton, our story actually began in Cleveland. Gil had recently moved to an apartment in Tremont, while Shelby was finishing up her clinicals for PT school. We matched on Bumble. After realizing the conversation was easy and we had things in common, we set up a date!

We went back to the spot of our first date: Brewnuts. Gil wanted to get down on one knee as we split a donut, but the restaurant started quickly filling up. So, as we walked outside, Gil started to scan for the best spot to do it. However, Gil had no luck finding a spot as we reached the car. When we got to the car, Gil got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Cleveland!
