Some of our favorite bars off east 6th includes Mama Dearest (quirky bar), La Holly (known of mezcal margs), Kitty Cohens, Zilker Brewing (also check out Spicy Boys the food truck there), Latchkey (for dancing before 10) and Shangri-La (has a great speak easy in the back).
The Domain
Known area for shopping also offers restraurants & bars off of Rock Rose Ave. Some of our favorites include Jack & Ginger's (a great Irish Pub), Blue Sushi Sake, and Thai Kun.
Barton Springs
Well known natural spring to swim in. We've spent many times here during our Texas hot summers!
Lady Bird Lake
Be sure to visit Lady Bird Lake, in the heart of Austin, perfect for a peaceful walk along its trails. For an added adventure, you can also rent a kayak and explore the waters for a unique view of the city.
