Our story began at New Work Fellowship Church, where Shelby started attending a young adult Bible study led by David. What began as a simple connection in a shared space of faith quickly grew into something much deeper. From the start, it was clear that God had a hand in bringing us together. As we got to know each other, we realized just how much we had in common—but also how our differences complemented each other in the best ways. We’ve built a relationship rooted in love, laughter, and faith, always striving to keep God at the center of everything we do. Over time, our connection only grew stronger, filled with meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and everyday moments that mean the most. And of course, life wouldn’t be complete without our sweet cat, Zaxby, who has been part of our journey along the way. When David proposed with Shelby’s mom’s ring, it made the moment even more special, tying together love, family, and the future we are so excited to build. We are so grateful for the path that brought us here and cannot wait to continue growing together in faith and love as we begin this next chapter.
