Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better! But for sure by May 21, 2025 :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are currently registered at Amazon and Target. You should be able to find these links on the Registry Section of the website but if not- reach out and I'll be happy to get those links sent your way.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

I would suggest getting there around 4PM to make sure you have time to get pictures with Chris and Shelby before the ceremony begins.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes and no. We certainly won't turn anyone away for what they are wearing, but if you want to join in on the fun- we suggest wearing dusty pastels or jewel tones to match our wildflower theme (but mostly avoid dark colors). How formal? Think cocktail dress and light colored suits.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We were very limited on the number of people we were able to invite because of the size of the space and because we wanted to celebrate with the people most important to us. So if you have a plus one, we would have told you specifically.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! However, all children were included in the invites so don't show up with your cousin's best friend's nephew or something.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We would suggest Hotel Fort Des Moines- it's close to the venue and has many rooms at a reasonable rate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for Exile but the parking lots are a bit small so carpool if you can!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Sure! Let either Chris or Shelby know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements for you.
