Please join us by staying at the Hyatt Ziva and reserving your room through our room block: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/PVRIF/G-2GSW. If you need assistance with your reservation, please let us know or otherwise contact Antonio Bazan (antonio.bazan@hyatt.com) and Alejandro Venegas (alejandro.venegas@hyatt.com) directly. The rates reflected on our room block are locked in until November 19, 2024, so we encourage you to book as soon as you're able. When booking through the room block, your credit card information will be requested, but you will not be charged until mid-January 2025. Since it is an all-inclusive resort, you will be asked to include the exact number of people that will be staying in your room.
Flight
The Hyatt Ziva is roughly 35 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). We recommend flying into PVR. To our friends coming from San Diego, Tijuana Airport offers a plethora of cost effective flight options to PVR. Using the Cross Border Exchange (CBX) to get to the Tijuana Airport is easy, but does require a few documents so be sure to look into what's required and purchase in advance (CBX ticket, FMM, parking)
Travel Note
There are a few ways to get from the airport to the Hyatt Ziva, including taxi, uber, and reserving a private driver. There's a queue for taxis right when you walk outside the airport, but lines may be long. Ubers are cheap in Puerto Vallarta, but will require that you walk 5 minutes across a Pedestrian Bridge. Here's a website with instructions and photos on where to go to meet your Uber: https://ourwovenjourney.com/puerto-vallarta-airport-uber/ If you're willing to spend a little extra, we recommend reserving a private SUV with a driver ($89 + tip). The driver will meet you outside the airport with your name on a sign, provide cold beverages (water + beer), and take you directly to the hotel. Here are the details: - 6 people can fit in each SUV. - To reserve your ride, email Jesus at goldentransportations@gmail.com. - Use code "ShelbyandChase" to receive a discounted rate of $89/car. - They accept payment in cash (USD or pesos) upon your arrival at the hotel.
Travel Note
Please note that all travelers need a valid passport to travel to and from Mexico. The currency used in Mexico is pesos, although many places in Puerto Vallarta will accept credit cards and U.S. dollars. If you contact your bank, they may be able to exchange U.S. currency for pesos prior to your travel.
