Question
How should I get to the venue?
Answer
Parking - Available at the venue Shuttle from the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda - Leaves for Woodend at 5:00 and 5:30. Returns from Woodend at 10:00 and 11:00. Uber/Lyft - Are available, but service could be spotty after the reception. If any issues, guests can take the bus back to Bethesda where ride share and taxis should be more readily available.

How should I get to Lia's on Friday?
Answer
Lia's is a five minute drive or one stop on the Metro from the Hyatt at the Friendship Heights station. Validated parking is at the Colonial Parking garage on The Hills Plaza Rd. If you are traveling south on Wisconsin Ave, turn right on Willard Ave (you will pass Lia's), and take the next right. Garage is then on the right.

What covid precautions are we taking?
Answer
At this time, we are asking all guests and vendors to be fully vaccinated to protect the people closest to us. Depending on cases, we may ask that guests provide a negative covid test as well. Please expect this to be fluid, as we believe it is much easier to feel joy when we also feel safe. If either the pandemic or our policies make your attendance of our in-person wedding impossible or uncomfortable, we understand and would love to celebrate with you at a later time and place! Is the space inside or outside?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Dinner will be held under a tent with open sides (the ceremony would be here too in the event of rain). Dancing will be in the mansion adjacent to the tent--we will keep this space as ventilated as possible and guests are of course welcome to remain in the tent or outdoor areas. Friday's event is also indoor/outdoor on a restaurant patio with a connecting bar with windows that open to the outside.

What should I wear?
Answer
Friday: Casual attire. Saturday: Cocktail attire. Please keep in mind we will be outdoors and walking on grass.

Are little ones invited?
Answer
Although we love and adore your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited space. Exceptions will be made for breastfed infants.

Should I rent a car?
Answer
The weekend is designed to not require a car once you get to downtown Bethesda from the airport or train station. You will have to ride share/taxi 5 minutes or take one stop on the Metro Friday night to get to Lia's. For Saturday during the day, there are plentiful food options near the hotel as well. If you wish to go to downtown DC, again Uber or Metro train will be easy options (30 minutes). Saturday evening we will run shuttle service from the hotel to the venue (schedule to come). Self parking is available at the Hyatt Regency (they ask that you call if your vehicle is over 6'1" tall)
