Adam and Shelby worked at Douglas Elementary for an entire year without ever meeting each other. The same office, same teacher's lounge, same hallways but somehow, their paths never crossed. That all changed when Adam discovered he was going to teach the older sibling of one of Shelby's kindergarten students. Adam had to ask another teacher who Ms. Brown was and where he could find her classroom. Adam and Shelby quickly bonded over being new teachers.
