Maid of Honor
Jadai & I met working at the same restaurant all the way back in 2010. If you had asked us then if we'd be as close as we are now, we'd have thought that you were crazy. One co-worker lunch turned into Saturday nights in Old Town Orange, Del Taco runs at 3AM, bestie travel trips, a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and memories that we'll never forget (except for those alcohol induced ones). Jadai has been there for me through thick and thin, and I have her to thank for SO much!I am beyond honored to have her as my maid of honor on Jacob & I's wedding day.
Best Man
My first wife… I mean not really, but seriously, we’ve known each other forever. He’s my oldest friend and a huge part of who I am today. His ambition and his compassion are two traits I admire most in him and things I try to emulate in myself. We’ve been partners in crime more than either of can remember at this point… God we’re old… but also been there for each other more times than either of us can probably count. There is no one else I could imagine choosing for my best man.
Maid of Honor
Selene & I go all the way back to Freshman year cheer boot camp. We went to school together since middle school, but didn't know each other before we got bunked up. After a night of, "your Mom," jokes and going through probably a dozen Hot Cheeto bags, we knew we were going to be buds. Selene & I's friendship grew even more after high school when we went to the same junior college. Between carpools, college football parties, beach runs, and river trips, I knew this girl was my forever friend. There is no one who gets my weird, quirky sense of humor more. I love this girl and can't wait to have her standing by my side.
Groomsman
Chase helped me to better understand what it means to put family first, and I’m thankful to consider him a part of my family. He’s always been there to set the example and listen to me when I needed a buddy to hear me, I could not be more honored to call him a friend.
Bridesmaid
Emily has been in my life since we were kids. We always joke about how our lives have been so in-sync, but what can you expect when you grow up on the same street! And just because we don't live on the same street anymore (or even same country now), we are still as close as ever. Emily has been there for all of my "firsts," so it is only fitting that she be standing up there with me when I say "I do."
Groomsman
Tyler is not the funniest man I know… no he’s the funniest man in existence. I’m not sure he’s ever been serious a second in is life, but I’ve never once had to question his intentions or his friendship. He is literally ALWAYS a great time, and a wedding is only made better by him being there.
Bridesmaid
Jaclyn & I have been friends since elementary school. I have some of my greatest memories with her. My concert going buddy and my country singing duet partner - we've been through so much together, and I can honestly say that she is one of the strongest people I know. When Jaclyn lets you into her heart, she loves you fully. I can't wait to share this day with her as one of the people Jacob & I love the most.
Groomsman
It’s technically his middle name, but no one calls him Nicholas… unless they’re weird. I’ve known him most of my life, and his entire life. Growing up I thought of him as the little brother that I could help guide through the world and teach. But through his extreme curiosity and genuinely good nature, he’s taught me more than I think I could possibly catch up to at this point. And so the Student has become the Master.
Bridesmaid
Jess & I met working at B-Dubs in Columbus, O-H! Some of my most epic college memories include Jess. Even after college, we always made an effort to stay in touch and visit each other, whether it was in California or Ohio. Jess is honest, loyal, and will have your back no matter what. I'm glad that she'll be standing up there with me on Jacob & I's wedding day.
Groomsman
Danny is the definition of loyalty. He’s truly there for his friends no matter how big or how small the favor. Always honest, competitive with his friendship, and wanting nothing more than to be there for those of us lucky enough to have him our lives. Thanks for always being there for me, Pooks.
Bridesmaid
Heather has become a sister to me more than by marriage. She loves my brother with all of her heart, and I love her for that. She's been a witness to many growth periods in my life, and has always offered her kind and supportive words. She's an amazing mother, and I am honored to call her family. It is only fitting that she be my bridesmaid as our family grows!
Groomsman
This is one of those examples of “do as I say not as I do.” Mikey really does prefer to be called Michael. I hope he knows my nicknames are only to show that I care hopefully half as much as he does. Michael is truly among the most caring people you'll meet. He's always open to getting to know someone better, and hopefully as on a deeply connected level as I’m lucky to say we are.
Groomsman
Adam is both my groomsman and the Brother of the Bride. Shelby and I waged war for who would get him in their party, and I clearly won. Adam is not only a great brother, but he's an amazing brother in law as well. He wants nothing but health & happiness for Shelby and I, and is always there with a kind word. It's been inspiring to watch him and his wife Heather as parents raising there adorable little girl, Reagan. I hope to emulate him when I become a parent myself.
Groomsman
Class Class Class. No better way to describe the man. Classy drinks, classy music, classy times. A Frank Sinatra aficionado who’s always prepared with a meaningful toast. Whether your white water rafting or shopping for a new polo, having Sam in my life has made for a great adventure with a great friend.
Wedding Officiate
Mi Hermano, the big brother. My brother is probably the most empathetic, patient and LOUD spoken person I know. And I find all that inspiring. He will always listen intently to what you have to say, give you all the time you need to say it, and will make your opinion feel valid and respected… even as he tells you that your wrong and why that is. But he’ll never shove his opinion in your face and make you feel dumb for disagreeing. I aspire to be more like him, and can’t wait to stand in front of him with Shelby as he officiates our Wedding.
