We Can't Wait to Celebrate with You!

Josh and Shelbie matched on Hinge a dating app April 8th, 2024. Only a few messages back and forth. Shelbie was preparing to move and live on Mackinac Island. Josh was navigating everyday life and working. Little did these two know what was about to happen on April 28th, 2024. That evening Shelbie redownloaded Hinge and Josh had earlier that day sent a message. A spark has been lit, and the start of a beautiful relationship began to form. After a few phone calls, texts, and weeks a day to meet was planned. They eagerly waited for May 24th, 2024 to arrive. Josh traveled up north and made the ferry ride to the island. Shelbie had to work most of the day and couldn't wait for her shift to be done. A first date and the first-time meeting on Mackinac Island something out of a book or hallmark movie! That night changed a spark into a flame, Josh made sure to make the day memorable with a kiss. The date went very well and many others were planned right away. Leading up to June 12th, 2024... they became a couple! After spending the day on the island, putt putt, lunch, and relaxing by the water; Josh asked Shelbie to be his girlfriend! A memory and a beautiful chapter in their story.

On August 11th 2025... Josh proposed to Shelbie. The day before Josh popped question they had some beautiful photos taken and defiantly had Shelbie guessing, is today the day?! They spent the next day exploring northern Michigan visiting beaches, trails, coffee shops, historical sites, and having dinner near the water. Little did Shelbie know Josh's had something brewing through out that whole day and trip. Finished dinner and headed back to Cheboygan for the night, the couple got into the truck and Josh said "turn on some of our favorite music and do you want to do something we've never done?" Shelbie said "sure" and thought to herself what might be happening next! During dinner Josh was acting a little odd but Shelbie went along with it. What might have been the longest dinner in Josh's life... Shelbie just enjoyed another night out. The drive back to Cheboygan was very lovely and the night was absolutely beautiful. They arrived at the beach and Cheboygan light house pier... Shelbie quickly took off her shoes and was ready to walk the beach. Josh suggested maybe keep your shoes on as we walk on the side walk. Shelbie's curiosity spiked a little bit, however she was just enjoying the view and the night. The couple walked to the end of the pier took in the view of the bridge, lighthouse, and Mackinac Island in the distance. The night was beautiful sun set was stunning, painted by God! As they took in the view... Josh had a very important question to ask Shelbie. He stepped be hind her and turn her to him, he was on his knee and ring in hand. The asked Shelbie to be his Wife! Shelbie was overjoyed!!! He even had a neighbor capture the moment. Another beautiful moment and Memory locked in!
