We're Getting Married

We met while we were students at Central Michigan University. My friend's at the time wanted to go out that Saturday night to the local club, Wayside. Bri, our friend at the time, asked Tj to use her car and drive us to the club and drop us off. He agreed and before we left our dorm, I asked him for his number because I wanted to make sure he knew what time to pick us up. He was in the driver's seat and I was in the passenger riding in silence but I could feel him looking at me. He dropped us off and I texted him to come pick us up hours later. We stopped by Subway in Towers, our resident hall and chatted for a bit. Let him tell it, "I knew then that you would be the one". Since then we became great friends which later turned into us becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.

On a beautiful day in Chicago, I orchestrated a surprise proposal in a charming garden adorned with purple rose petals. To make the moment even more special, I had her friend invite her to what she believed was an all-white party. As she arrived, dressed in white and unsuspecting, she was greeted by the stunning sight of the garden and all our loved ones gathered. The surprise was perfect—her eyes filled with tears as she realized what was happening, and we both cried with joy. Surrounded by family, in a setting that felt like a dream, I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me and she said yes!
